SN770TFR Rugged Notebook

The SN770TF is a new generation notebook computer. The rugged, all metal portable computer is designed to survive harsh handling in extreme environmental conditions. The SN770TF is TEMPEST to AMSG720B and tested to MIL-STD-810F for ruggedisation. The system is completely sealed from water, dust and dirt intrusion to IP54 and can withstand heavy vibration and shock loads from every day use in rough in-vehicle operation.

The SN770TF configuration includes a powerful Intel Mobile Pentium® M processor, 1.6GHz to Dothan 1.8GHz processor, 256MB of memory, PCMCIA/Cardbus, 3D audio, and a fully sealed rubber keyboard with an integrated pointing device. Mass storage is provided by a standard removable EIDE hard drive. The hard drive is a small form-factor, 2.5-inch ruggedised unit mounted in a shock absorbing sealed cartridge that slides into the side of the SN770TF.

A peripheral bay houses either the removable floppy drive, optical drive or battery as an option.
